Data Deletion Instructions

From Facebook, Instagram, and other Meta products, only what you allowed:

• Your name, profile picture, and the app-scoped user ID Meta gives our app
• Your email address, if you granted that permission
• IDs and access tokens for the Facebook Pages or Instagram professional accounts you connected
• Posts, media, and basic performance insights we published or measured for those accounts at your request
• Messages you sent to our Pages or accounts

We do not sell this data. We use it only to provide the features you connected, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Removing the app stops any further access to your account. It does not delete data we already received; for that, follow section 3.

Facebook

1. Open Facebook and go to Settings & privacy, then Settings.
2. Open Apps and websites. You will see the apps and websites you have linked to Facebook.
3. Find StartupCrafters and select Remove.

Instagram

1. Go to your profile, open the menu, and choose Settings and activity.
2. Open Website permissions, then Apps and websites.
3. Under Active, find StartupCrafters and select Remove.

Menu names can change slightly between app versions.

Email [email protected] with the subject line “Data Deletion Request” and include:

• Your full name and the email address you used with us
• Your Facebook or Instagram profile name, and the names of any Pages or accounts you connected
• Anything else that helps us find your data, such as the date you connected

Never send passwords. To protect you, we may ask you to confirm the request from the same email address or through the connected account before we delete anything.

• We confirm that we received your request.
• Within 30 days of verifying your identity, we delete or anonymise your Meta-sourced data, including stored access tokens, from our active systems. We then send you a confirmation with a reference number.
• Copies in encrypted backups are overwritten in the normal backup cycle, within 90 days, and are never restored for any other purpose.
• We keep only records the law requires, such as invoices and signed agreements, for the periods stated in our Privacy Policy. We restrict them to that purpose.

We instruct the service providers that process data for us, such as hosting, email delivery, and analytics providers, to delete your data as well. Meta keeps its own copy of your Facebook and Instagram data under its own policies; you can review and delete it in your Meta account settings.

You can also ask for a copy of your data or for corrections. Residents of California, the EEA, and the UK have additional rights described in our Privacy Policy. Use of our website and services is governed by our Terms of Service.
